Last time I played with a friend, the keys affected both players at the same time. Play 175 awesome levels right now, with more added each week just the levels in aa & uu. Lore and Legend quests give a very good amount of AA XP and will give you a mastery strike (a type of damage bonus) against the monsters for which you complete the quests.
